View of Lacey Green
The village of Lacey Green is in the heart of the Chiltern Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty where you can catch frequent sights of wildlife ranging from deer and foxes to the growing population of Red Kites, previously extinct in England. This picture is a view of the village from Lodge Hill, this is just one of the views from the top of the Village which is as good a reason to live here as any!

Lacey Green Windmill
Lacey Green windmill stands on the escarpment of the Chiltern Hills, near Princes Risborough and halfway between High Wycombe and Aylesbury. Since 1971 it has been restored back to working order by members of The Chiltern Society. Its construction methods and the internal wooden machinery appears to date from the middle of the 17th century, around 1650. Most books refer to the fact that in 1821 Lacey Green windmill was moved from Chesham, which is 9 miles to the east.
