Come and join us. We are over 13,000 strong, made up from members of NAEA, ARLA, ICBA and NAVA under the umbrella of NFOPP.

Property uploads to PropertyLive.co.uk are free to agents with principals, partners or directors as members of the above associations.

Members have joined their respective associations to demonstrate their commitment to professional standards in the property industry to which they can be held accountable. They have to adhere to the Rules of Conduct and Codes of Practice.

NFOPP exists to offer its members and their associations a wide range of support and development services with economies of scale and to provide a strong and authoritative voice for all agency practitioners.

Qualifications

Those who join must obtain a minimum relevant qualification (e.g. the Technical Award).

Professional indemnity insurance

Members must carry Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Client money protection

Members holding client accounts (e.g. for holding landlords' rent) must be part of a client money protection scheme insuring that clients' money is secure.

Accountants' report

All members holding client accounts must provide an annual report from an accountant showing that the client account is run in a proper fashion, ring fenced from all other business activity.

Continuing professional development

Members must complete CPD as part of their commitment to maintaining ongoing professional standards.

Ombudsman

Members of all disciplines must be members of an independent redress scheme, ensuring that clients are protected from losses that could result should a problem arise.

Internal complaints
