Full description
As soon as the present owners saw this graceful property they knew it was going to be their perfect family home, with 3 reception rooms, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They were captivated by the elegantly proportioned rooms, stunning grounds, and its rural setting, surrounded by rolling farmland and distant mountains. It offered space, comfort and safety for a growing family but was convenient, only eight miles to Menai Bridge and ten to Bangor for good schools and a vibrant city. Built in the mid nineteenth century the property retains the attractive Victorian features of its time with high ceilings, generous windows that flood the house with light and a wide impressive staircase. These qualities blend seamlessly with the comforts of modern living and the renovated kitchen is the centre of daily family life. The lounge has magnificent views towards the mountains and with the wood burning stove makes a cosy winter retreat. The walled garden has been a great source of pleasure and there is an annual harvest of apples, plums and organically grown vegetables. Beyond the walled garden are child friendly lawns and a place to enjoy the myriad bird life and beyond that rolling countryside awash with sheep and perfect for a walk in the country or to the beach which is only a few miles from the property. This is the ideal home, offering a tranquil lifestyle and the present owners would like to build a carbon copy of Tre Anna but know they will have to suffice with many happy memories.
